Is Porcelain XL non-porous?

Porcelain has compact, non-porous surfaces. This characteristic makes the material highly safe, hygienic and ideal for food contact.

The perfect sintering and very low level of surface absorption make porcelain stoneware slabs impervious to liquids, chemical agents or detergents and acidic substances.

Is Porcelain XL easy to clean and maintain?

Porcelain XL surfaces are easy to maintain: they do not retain dirt and are easily cleaned with a damp cloth and warm water, without the use of impregnating agents, waxes or special polishing.

Is Porcelain XL durable?

Porcelain XL surfaces has excellent strength and surface hardness characteristics that make the surfaces resistant to wear,scratches and almost all physical and mechanical stresses.

The hardness of the surface makes Porcelain XL slabs resistant to scratches and everyday wear. They are therefore particularly suitable for the design of intensively used spaces such as kitchen countertops and bathrooms, as well as environments in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector such as coffee bars and restaurants.

Is Porcelain XL suitable for outdoor applications?

Porcelain XL surfaces do not fade or change color even when permanently exposed to direct sunlight or polluting atmospheric agents. Thus, they are particularly suitable in outdoor applications.

Is Porcelain XL frost and heat resistant?

Porcelain XL contains no plastic or organic substances of any kind and is inert when subjected to high temperatures. It is therefore in no way combustible or flammable and cannot be damaged by burning cigarettes, embers, hot liquids or flames. Porcelain stoneware slabs are non-flammable, so they do not burn and, in the event of a fire, they do not produce smoke nor release toxic substances, reducing the spread of flames and thus facilitating evacuation and extinguishing operations.

Daily Care :

Porcelain XL requires very little maintenance. Simply wipe your Porcelain XL surface using a non-abrasive sponge with soap and warm water on a regular basis to maintain its beauty and shine for years to come. In addition, any pH balanced general purpose cleaner may be used.

How to remove spills?

To remove difficult spills, wipe the surface with pH balanced soap with sponge and rinse with warm water. For stains that harden as they dry, such as food, gum, nail polish, and paint, remove by gently scraping off of surface (using a razor blade or putty knife), and then clean using warm water and soap.Gray marks left by the razor, can be wiped away with soap and water or glass cooktop cleaner.

Precautions :

Apply glass cooktop cleaner and wipe clean with generous amount of water with clean rags. The use of squeegee may also ease the cleaning process. Caution should be exercised in the handling and storage of any of the chemicals/products. Manufacturer’s instructions should be exercised when using and storing these products.
